Scholarship Opportunity for Fit Learning St. Louis

Don't miss your chance to learn about MO Scholars tutoring scholarships for your child

Are you worried about your child’s learning progress? Concerned about delays in core academic subject areas? Do you have a child with special needs who you fear is falling through the cracks? Or, do you know someone who could benefit from sending their child to a high quality tutor but is unable to afford the tuition?

If so, we’re pleased to highlight two resources that can help.

First, Missouri has a needs-based school choice scholarship opportunity, MOScholars, that can be used to pay for K-12 tutoring and private school tuition.

Second, the MOScholars scholarship can be used to fund your learner’s tutoring at Fit Learning St. Louis. Fit uses an effective alternative teaching method that combines science-based techniques and fun, engaging learning sessions to produce amazing learning outcomes in reading, math, logic/critical thinking, and other core areas.

The MOScholars program is worth checking out.

This MOScholars program was created as a result of Missouri House Bill 349 passed in 2021. The purpose of the initiative is to expand educational options for Missouri students living in low-income households or having Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

MOScholars is funded by private donations leveraged by state tax credits. Families who apply and are found to be eligible will receive up to $6760 to pay for educational expenses (in 2026, this amount increases to $7145). The covered expenses may include tutoring services, tuition and fees for a qualified school, curriculum materials, summer programs, and more. The scholarships can be renewed each year until the learner graduates from high school.

Note that these scholarships are not tied to academic performance. Rather, a student’s eligibility depends on factors such as household income and whether the learner has special needs.

For more information, visit the MOScholars website, which provides resources such as FAQseligibility guidelines, and a parent handbook. There you can also sign up to receive updates on the program.

In short, Fit Learning is a great “fit” for the MOScholars scholarship opportunity. To begin with, Fit’s method really works. It delivers unsurpassed educational outcomes, with learners improving an average of one or two grade levels after 40 hours of instruction.

Fit’s approach is 1:1 and personalized to your child’s needs. The customized and efficient approach meets your learner exactly where they are, with a focus on exactly what’s needed to move forward. The learning coaches keep it upbeat and engaging — plus, there’s no homework! As a result, learners genuinely have fun and look forward to the learning sessions.

In addition, the Fit program works well for all types of learners. This includes gifted learners and children with diagnoses of ADHD, dyslexia, learning disabilities or differences, autism, anxiety, and slow processing speed.

Finally, Fit provides intangible long-term benefits that extend well beyond academics. These include heightened self-confidence, critical thinking, agility, focus, and a love of learning.
